Five Weeks and Living Better

I have been going to Weigh Down classes for five weeks with my husband. It has been wonderful for our marriage. We have been struggling through a marriage crisis. Last Christmas, we lost a child. It was devasting. Through Weigh Down, God has used this experience to give us the words to speak to one another. For a long time, my husband and I didn't talk about it because it was painful and we didn't know what to say. It is o.k. to cry. It is o.k. to feel pain. Above all, we can honestly say that we still trust God and we know that He is still at work in our lives. We can say that his plan is perfect for us not just for others.
We first joined Weigh Down for the weight lose. How could we ever know that it would touch our lives in so many other ways. If you are still unsure about whether Weigh Down is for you, don't worry - it is! God will meet you wherever you are. He will supply all of your needs. He will bless you.
By the way, I have lost 9 pounds, but more important is my loving relationship with my Father.
